Tree Northeast visits Take Back Your Neighborhood meeting

Caring for the community: Members of the Take Back Your Neighborhood civic association treated needy neighbors to a pre-Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 26 at Calvary Christian Church.

Members of the Take Back Your Neighborhood civic association heard from representatives of Tree Northeast, TD Bank and Philadelphia Gas Works at their most recent meeting.

Diane Martino, PGW liaison, discussed ways people can seek cash grants through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Call 215–684–6601.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania Private Police representative Chris Rodriguez explained that his company would be offering free uniformed service around Max Myers Playground and during school dismissal.

The civic association treated needy neighbors to a pre-Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 26 at Calvary Christian Church, 6000–38 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Large Street).

Take Back Your Neighborhood will meet again on Monday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. at Max Myers, 1601 Hellerman St. ••
